The GP-7 helmet, successor to the legendary GP-6, one of the most successful helmets in Arai's history, is available in compliance with the SNELL SA2020 standard and FIA 8859-2015 homologation.
It is the absolute masterpiece that combines Arai engineering, performance and comfort at the highest levels. It complies with the FIA 8859 - SNELL2020 standard, designed to be among the safest in the world for high-end helmets used in motor racing.
The key to the GP-7 FRP's incredible performance lies in the impressive technical solutions adopted, such as the SuperFibra outer shell and the inner shell made of EPS with different densities in a single piece. These technologies enable it to meet and exceed the demands of the world's most demanding riders.
The outer shell is made using the Complex Laminate Construction technique, to which the Arai Peripheral Belt has been added as further reinforcement, maximising the shell's rigidity, strength and energy-deflecting capacity. The creation of outer shells that are as smooth, strong and rounded as possible is a feature common to all Arai helmets. This construction philosophy allows us to increase the helmet's ability to deflect impact energy, maximising the level of protection it can offer. We know that all the energy we are able to deflect thanks to the outer shell does not then have to be absorbed by the inner shell, significantly increasing the maximum absorption capacity of every Arai helmet.
The Arai multi-density inner shell is made from a single piece (a world exclusive) and its combination with the PB-cLc outer shell has allowed us to create a helmet with unrivalled characteristics. The different densities of the EPS and the monoblock structure allow us to maintain a uniform thickness throughout the helmet and to create a shell that fits the rider's head perfectly, increasing comfort, visibility and energy absorption capacity.
The new generation of Facial Contour System-2 (FCS-2) cheek pads guarantee an unprecedented level of comfort by wrapping the jaw area securely without creating annoying pressure points and minimising noise intrusion from the lower part of the helmet. They are also removable, washable and available in different thicknesses to perfectly suit the specific needs of each rider.
Threaded holes for installing the FHR M6 anchor (optional) are integrated into the shell for quick and secure installation. The Arai GP-7 also features a removable chin strap for use with a hydration system. Like the GP-7 SRC, it boasts 7 air intakes in the upper part of the shell: two front TDF3 ducts, three central Tear Ducts extractors and two rear XDB Duct extractors with the addition of a chin guard air intake to optimise airflow inside the helmet and keep the rider's head cool at all times.

The new Variable Axis System (VAS) has been designed to lower the pivot point of the visor, allowing us to further strengthen the outer shell in the temple area without compromising the visor's functionality. The new low-profile anchor screws can be adjusted with a T20 torx key included in the package.
